Agreeing to these terms

By downloading, opening or using Sisaro Break (the "App"), you agree to these Terms of Use and to our Privacy Policy. The App is provided by Henry Sanders ("we", "us"). If you do not agree, please don't use the App. You must be at least 16, or old enough in your country to accept these terms yourself.

What the App is, and what it isn't

Sisaro Break helps office and desk workers plan a number of short movement breaks each day and guides them through short stretch routines picked for their workspace and the body preferences they enter. It is a general wellbeing and habit tool.

It is not a medical device. It does not diagnose, treat or prevent any condition, and it is not a replacement for a doctor, physiotherapist or ergonomic assessment.

Move within your comfort

  • Only do movements you can do safely. Stop at once if you feel pain, dizziness, numbness or shortness of breath.
  • If you are pregnant, recovering from an injury or surgery, or have a joint, back, heart or other health condition, check with a qualified professional before starting.
  • Make sure your space is clear. Check that your chair is stable before standing or rotating near it, and watch for cables and desk edges.
  • Routines are adjusted from the preferences you give, but they cannot account for everything about your body. You are responsible for deciding what is right for you.

Your licence to use the App

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the App on devices you own or control, for your own non-commercial use, under these terms and the usage rules of the store you downloaded it from. We, and our licensors, keep all rights in the App that are not expressly granted to you.

Fair use

You agree not to:

  • copy, modify, decompile or reverse-engineer the App, except as the law expressly allows;
  • resell, rent, sublicense or redistribute the App or its routines;
  • use the App in a way that breaks the law or interferes with its normal operation;
  • remove copyright or other notices.

Your data stays with you

Your break count, preferences and history are stored on your device, as described in the Privacy Policy. We do not hold a copy, so we cannot restore it if you lose your device or uninstall the App. Keeping device backups is up to you.

Move 07ShiftHold: 30 sec

Purchases and app stores

Any price, in-app purchase or subscription for the App is shown in the store before you pay. Payments, renewals, cancellations and refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their terms. We cannot process refunds directly.

If you got the App from Apple's App Store, you also agree that these terms are between you and us, not Apple. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support and is not responsible for claims relating to the App. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them. If anything here conflicts with Apple's Standard EULA, the more protective terms for you apply where permitted.

Our content

The routines, movement descriptions, illustrations, text, name and branding in the App belong to us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property law. You may use them while using the App, but not republish them.

Move 09BalanceHold: 30 sec

No guarantees

To the extent the law allows, the App is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free, that reminders will always fire on time (your device's battery and notification settings can affect this), or that any particular result will follow from using it. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that cannot be excluded.

Move 10ReleaseHold: 30 sec

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, or for injury resulting from movements done against the guidance in Move 03. Our total liability for any claim relating to the App is limited to the amount you paid for it in the 12 months before the claim, or USD 10 if you paid nothing. We do not exclude liability that cannot be excluded by law, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.

Move 11Cool-downHold: 20 sec

Changes and ending

We may update the App or these terms from time to time. When the terms change, we will post the new version here with a new effective date. Continuing to use the App after that means you accept the change. You can stop at any time by deleting the App. We may end your licence if you seriously breach these terms. Moves 03, 08, 09, 10 and 12 continue to apply after that.

Move 12FinishHold: 20 sec

Governing law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of the place where the publisher is based, without depriving you of the protection of mandatory consumer laws in the country where you live, or of your right to bring a claim in your local courts. If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest still applies.
