The short version
Sisaro Break is published by Henry Sanders, an independent developer ("we", "us"). The app is built to work without an account and without a server of its own. The number of breaks you choose, the workspace and body preferences used to pick your routines, and your record of completed breaks are stored on your device.
We do not sell data, show ads, use third-party analytics or build a profile of you. The only time we receive personal information is when you choose to contact us, for example by email or through the support page.
What stays on your device
The app needs a little information to shape your day. It is stored in the app's private storage on your phone and is not sent to us.
| Information | Why the app uses it | Where it lives |
|---|---|---|
| Breaks per day | To spread your planned pauses across the workday | Device only |
| Workspace preferences (for example a fixed desk or a laptop at a table) | To choose movements that fit how you sit and work | Device only |
| Body preferences you choose to set (for example areas to go easy on) | To adjust or skip particular stretches in a routine | Device only |
| Break history (breaks started and finished) | To show your progress through the day and week | Device only |
Body preferences are things you choose to tell the app about comfort and movement. They are not medical records, and the app does not diagnose anything. You can change them at any time. Uninstalling the app deletes all of this from the device. If your phone's own system backup (for example iCloud or Google device backup) is switched on, a copy may be included in that backup under your platform provider's terms. We cannot access those backups.
What we don't collect
- NoneName, email or phone number inside the app (no sign-up)
- NoneLocation, contacts, photos, camera or microphone
- NoneAdvertising identifiers or cross-app tracking
- NoneThird-party analytics, crash-reporting profiles or marketing pixels
- NoneData from health platforms such as Apple Health or Google Health Connect
If a future version ever needs to collect something new, we will update this policy first and, where the law requires it, ask for your permission in the app before anything is collected.
Reminders and notifications
If you allow notifications, Sisaro Break schedules break reminders locally through your phone's operating system. They are scheduled on the device. We do not run a push server that knows when your breaks are due. You can turn notifications off at any time in your device settings, and the app will still work when you open it yourself.
App stores and your platform
You download Sisaro Break from Apple's App Store or Google Play. Those companies process information such as your purchase or download record, device type and, if you have agreed to it with them, aggregated crash and usage statistics. That processing falls under their own privacy policies, not this one. Any summary statistics they share with developers are anonymous and do not identify you to us.
When you email support
If you write to henry.sanders29@gmail.com or use the form on the support page to open an email, we receive your email address and whatever you include in the message. We use it only to answer you and fix problems. We keep it for as long as the conversation is useful, and generally no longer than 24 months, and never use it for marketing. The email provider (Google) processes those messages as our mail host.
Please don't send sensitive health details. A description of what the app did is all we need.
Children and your rights
Sisaro Break is designed for adults who work at desks. It is not directed at children under 13, or under 16 where local law sets a higher age, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Depending on where you live, laws such as the GDPR, UK GDPR or US state privacy laws may give you rights to access, correct, delete or object to the processing of your personal data. Your app data never reaches us, so you control it directly: you can edit it in the app or remove it by uninstalling. For anything we hold, such as support emails, write to us and we will respond within 30 days. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.
Changes and contact
If this policy changes, we will post the new version here and update the effective date. Material changes will also be noted in the app's release notes.
